I want to sing this with all my heart and mean every word

Today i kinda understood what they meant when they said you cant depend on people. Not that whatever happened today hurt me so bad. But it made me realise how you cant fully rely on people to make you happy. They fail you. And i guess that was God’s way of telling me that He’s the only one i can trust. That He’s the one who will never leave me. Not that anybody did. But that unlike humans, He will always be true to me.

And as I was typing out the last sentence, I remembered today’s sermon about Jeremiah and his struggles/his complaints/his pains. And despite all that, his acknowledgement of God’s compassion and mercies too. Wow.

Anyway i’m so thankful for the strength He provides me with every sunday morning when i go to Church, despite the very tiring end to the week. Amazing how i never sleep during sermon. I mean, i’m the princess of laziness after all right. God’s pretty cool actually.

Sigh.
